When you use LETRZ Drop, we may collect the following information:
- Account Information: If you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID user identifier and the display name you choose. Apple may provide your email address or a private relay email depending on your preference. You can change your display name at any time within the app.
- Game Data: Your scores, words found, games played, longest word, and other gameplay statistics. This data is stored to power the leaderboard and track your progress.
- Device Information: Basic device information such as device model and operating system version may be collected for crash reporting and compatibility purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Save your game progress and sync it across your devices
- Display your name and score on the global leaderboard
- Improve the app experience and fix bugs
- Communicate important updates about the app
3. Data Storage
Your game data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication), which is hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure. Firebase stores data securely using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Your data is associated with your unique user identifier and is not shared with other users beyond what appears on the public leaderboard (display name and score).
4. Third-Party Services
LETRZ Drop uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase Authentication: For secure sign-in with Apple.
- Cloud Firestore: For storing game progress and leaderboard data.
- Apple Sign In: For identity verification. Apple's privacy policy applies to the Sign In with Apple service.
We do not use any advertising SDKs or analytics tracking beyond what is needed for basic app functionality.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. The only information visible to other users is your chosen display name and your game scores on the leaderboard.
6. Data Retention
Your game data is retained as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at the email below and we will remove your data within 30 days.
7. Children's Privacy
LETRZ Drop is suitable for players of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. The game can be played without signing in — the sign-in feature is optional and only required for leaderboard participation.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we store about you
- Change your display name at any time within the app
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Play the game without signing in (local-only mode)

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
