Bryan Moore ("we," "our," or "us") built LETRZ Duel as a free application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
Information We Collect
LETRZ Duel collects minimal information necessary to provide multiplayer gameplay:
- Apple ID identifier — If you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique, app-scoped identifier. We do not receive your real name or email unless you choose to share them.
- Display name — A player name you create or that is auto-generated as a guest.
- Game data — Scores, ratings, win/loss records, friend codes, and words played during matches.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to:
- Provide multiplayer matchmaking and gameplay
- Maintain your player profile, stats, and rating
- Enable the friends system (friend codes and challenges)
- Sync your progress across devices when signed in with Apple
Data Storage
Game data is stored securely using Google Firebase. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
Third-Party Services
LETRZ Duel uses the following third-party services:
- Google Firebase — Authentication, real-time database, and cloud functions for multiplayer gameplay. Firebase Privacy Policy

- Merriam-Webster API — Word validation. Only the words you submit are sent for dictionary lookup. No personal data is transmitted.
Analytics & Advertising
LETRZ Duel does not use any analytics SDKs, tracking tools, or advertising networks. We do not track your activity, serve ads, or build advertising profiles.
Children's Privacy
LETRZ Duel does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require any personal information to play as a guest. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Data Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings screen within the app. Once deleted, your player profile, game history, friends list, and all related data are permanently removed from our servers.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
